Almost 2 years

What motivates you to do this important but challenging work?
I am motivated by helping others. I believe everyone deserves support and a chance to thrive even when circumstances are overwhelming. I feel a purpose in being a voice for those who struggle to be heard ensuring they have the resources and care they might need.

What’s one thing everyone should know about 211?
211 is a free, confidential, 24/7 connection to essential community resources.

What motivates you to do this important but challenging work?
Knowing that we are able to help people and guide them in the right direction.

What’s one thing everyone should know about 211?
That we are here to help. That we only want to make our small corner of the world into a better place for everyone.

3 years with a 1-year break in the middle

What motivates you to do this important but challenging work?
I find great purpose in helping people navigate resources and support. Being able to work out in the community, one on one with clients is very meaningful to me.

What’s one thing everyone should know about 211?
Most of us are very invested in our jobs and truly want to find resources for them. At times we have to say there aren’t resources for different things and that can weigh on us.
