Grants

United Way invests in local programs that create meaningful, measurable change across Lucas, Ottawa, and Wood counties. Through our community grant process, we provide multi-year funding to organizations advancing work in education, financial stability, health, and housing.

United Way offers:

  • Opportunities to participate in collaborative working groups

  • Help with data collection, tracking, and outcomes measurement

  • Access to professional development and shared learning opportunities

  • Ongoing support to strengthen program impact

Our grantmaking process is rooted in equity, accountability, and collaboration. We do not have any active grant opportunities open at this time

Update

Thank you for your interest in United Way of Greater Toledo’s grants process. We are currently entering year three of a three‑year grant cycle spanning 2024–2027. As we look ahead to 2027, we will release an updated Live United Plan later this year, outlining our future focus areas and continued commitment to supporting the Northwest Ohio community.

Our grantmaking process is rooted in equity, accountability, and collaboration. At this time, there are no active grant opportunities available. In addition, while we greatly value the important work happening across our community, United Way is not able to provide sponsorships for events at this time. We appreciate your understanding and your efforts to strengthen our community.
