As one of the original United Way of Greater Toledo funded agencies, Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo is proud to continue to be a priority partner for addressing the needs of our community, and improving the lives of Toledo’s children. United Way has helped to build, sustain and supplement funding for the Clubs for decades. Through our partnership, we have tracked improvements in our program delivery as well as evolved new and stronger partnerships.

Billy Mann, Boys & Girls Club of Toledo

Through the years, I have seen United Way continue to improve and enhance data systems, and our organization has learned a lot about gathering and using data to inform us about the impact that our programs are making on children, families and the community.

Without United Way, The YWCA of Northwest Ohio would not be able to provide some of our valuable services to our community including; our Shelter, Rape Crisis Center, and Child Care Resource and Referral Department. Because of the programs that United Way offers, we are able to ensure that individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking have a safe place to lay their heads at night. We are able to provide educational resources to families to guarantee their children are receiving the best care possible. We thank United Way for allowing us to provide dignity for all in the 419!
