Healing & Compassion Fund

Gun violence leaves lasting scars on individuals, families, and entire communities. Too often, survivors face overwhelming financial burdens while struggling to heal. That’s why the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety & Engagement established the Healing and Compassion Fund (HCF)—to provide immediate, direct support to those affected.

Your donation helps survivors cover essential needs such as temporary housing, lost wages, home modifications, and burial expenses for grieving families. Unlike traditional victim compensation programs—which can be slow, complex, and difficult to access—HCF ensures timely relief when it’s needed most.

The need is urgent. In 2023, fewer than 40% of Ohio Crime Victim Compensation claims were approved, leaving many without critical resources. Your gift today can help bridge this gap, offering healing, stability, and hope to those navigating the aftermath of gun violence.

Donate now to make an immediate impact.
