[TOLEDO, OHIO] – On Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, the African American Leadership Council (AALC) will host the I Invest in Me Leadership Conference and Fundraiser at Owens Community College from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature 13ABC anchor, Alexis Means as the keynote speaker, along with four engaging breakout sessions.
The breakout sessions include:
• AI in the Workplace presented by LeSean Shaw
• Emotional Intelligence presented by Tim Clark
• Personal Branding presented by Alissa Mauter
• Why Toledo Panel moderated by Candice Harrison, featuring TaShara B, Cecil Holston,
Avis Files, and Jon Dorcely
Additionally, Sheila Eason, founder and CEO of Elevate People Solutions will lead an interactive networking session.
Dr. Dione Dorsey Somerville, president of Owens Community College, stated:
