Without Sofia Quintero Art & Cultural Center, the Old South End would look much different

For this episode of The Uniters, I asked 73 questions to Sofia Quintero Art & Cultural Center (SQACC) Executive Director Taylor Burciaga who shared about her work and their impact in the community.

The Sofia Quintero Art & Cultural Center is a beacon of hope for the South Toledo neighborhood residents and local artists. Through events and programs, SQACC provides interest, awareness, and education about Latino art, heritage, and culture. They offer a variety of programs and services that fall under three focus areas – art, culinary and agriculture.

United Way Grant-Supported Program

The CENARE (Culinary Education Nutrition and Responsible Eating) program provides children and adults with nutritional, educational and hands-on culinary experiences in NaNa’s Kitchen. This program has been around for many years and has taught many in our community ways to eat healthier.
