[Toledo, OH] United Way of Greater Toledo (UWGT) is proud to announce the annual Campaign Celebration to commemorate the 2023 – 2024 campaign year, generously sponsored by UAW Local 12. The venue has been donated by and will be held at Industrial Power Systems (IPS) in Rossford, Ohio.
United Way Leadership and Staff welcome the UWGT Board of Directors, our Corporate Partners, Granted Partners, CEOs, Campaign Managers, media, and community members to the Campaign Celebration, which is an opportunity to thank our many partners who support United Way so we can continue to do important work within the community. Those who attend will have an opportunity to network and enjoy breakfast provided by Cork and Knife before the award winners are honored during an awards ceremony and presentation. “We are excited to bring so many community champions together and honor all the hard work by our corporate partners, community partners, campaign managers, and supporters,” said Wendy Pestrue, CEO of United Way of Greater Toledo. “Through this event we are able to show those who support us just how much we appreciate them believing in us to do the work of uniting our community for success. The nonprofit landscape has been fluctuating, with charitable giving down by as much as 31% in Northwest Ohio, but these partners help us do what we do best, strategically designating dollars where they are needed most to benefit our whole community.”
The program will include stories of inspiration and a little bit of fun while we honor all the people who make our community strategy for change possible. The breakfast will take place from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Industrial Power Systems Oices at 146 Dixie Hwy, Rossford, OH 43460, with the program starting at 9:00 a.m.
