For many people living with disabilities in Ottawa County, life is challenging. Things like going to the grocery store, holding down a job, and making friends are not always as simple as they could be. Tory Heilman at The Ability Center works tirelessly to fulfill the Center’s mission of assisting people with disabilities with living, working, and socializing within a fully accessible community. With United Way’s help, Tory and the Ability Center advance the common good in our community every day. This is what it means to LIVE UNITED.
