Last year, Dave Mehl joined the United Way staff as a part-time neighborhood engagement coordinator. Together, Dave and his wife, Cathy, have been hard at work advancing the work of the Conestoga Project, a grass roots neighborhood revitalization effort. The project targets the neighborhood between Maple and Lincoln streets, and has seen some considerable success under Dave's leadership. The success thus far has even attracted the scrutiny of other cities and towns who are interested in utilizing the Conestoga model in their own neighborhoods.
