Caring Giving Marina

Become a United Way Caring Giving Marina

Show boaters you care:  Partner with United Way

What does being a United Way Caring Giving Marina entail? Being a United Way Caring Giving Hotel entails making a commitment to help change lives in our community. The commitment involves making a predetermined and agreed upon donation to United Way for each boat docked at your marina. The level of commitment, whether a specific dollar amount given per boat per night or a percentage of the fees collected, can be discussed and decided between your company and a representative from United Way.

What are the benefits? As a United Way Caring Giving Marina you are demonstrating to your customers that your company cares about the community and the people who live here. You are giving boaters a reason to feel good about docking at your marina and a reason to come back again and again.

United Way will provide your company permission to use our logo to create signage and promotional materials. In addition, United Way will send a news release to Ottawa County newspapers announcing our partnership.

Why support United Way? United Way creates lasting change in people’s lives by addressing the underlying causes of the most significant local issues.  By bringing together a broad range of financial and human resources, United Way is in a unique position to positively impact the community.  Your contribution to United Way will support community services that are accountable for delivering measurable results and changing lives.
