Each year, United Way works tirelessly during the fall months to raise money to advance the common good in our community. The money then goes through a sophisticated investment process, run by a team of community volunteers. This Community Solutions Team in Ottawa County is co-chaired by Brenda Smith, director of Riverview Industries. Brenda and her team put in considerable time, carefully reviewing funding applications and deciding how investments will best serve our community. This can be a difficult and time-consuming task, and requires a certain level of knowledge and commitment. The dedication it takes to be a part of this vital team is one way Brenda Smith LIVES UNITED.
