Readers and Tutors | OTTAWA COUNTY

Become a Volunteer Reader or Tutor!

A volunteer reader plays an important role in increasing a child’s academic success and engagement in learning. That’s why United Way, Ida Rupp Public Library, Ottawa County Family and Children First Council, Port Clinton News Herald, and AmeriCorps have teamed up to recruit 100 readers.

We invite you to join us because we all benefit when kids succeed in school.

Signing up is easy*. Contact United Way Volunteer Center at volunteer@unitedwayottawacounty.org or dial 2-1-1.

*A minimum of one year academic commitment is suggested.
