United Way Announces Community Investment Decisions

As a result of the generosity of our community, $11.9 million will be invested in programs, initiatives, and partnerships advancing the common good in Lucas, Wood, and Ottawa counties.

United Way volunteers decided how $7.6 million of the total investments would be spent, while donors directed the remaining $4.3 million toward programs or organizations of their choice. The investment decisions made by volunteers support and accelerate United Way’s education push.
