American Teacher: Movie Screening and Discussion

United Way Women's Initiative will be holding a private screening of American Teacher, a film that balances personal stories, interviews, and facts to demonstrate the major sacrifices made by teachers across the country and the ripple effect this has on our children. 

The event is aimed at continuing the conversation about education and raising awareness of the creative writing and tutoring program Women’s Initiative is developing.

A short discussion will follow the screening, along with light refreshments and an opportunity to network with Women’s Initiative members.
