Agreement Reached on 2011 Federal Budget

Congress and the Administration reached an agreement to fund the government until the end of FY2011 (September 30, 2011). Both the House and Senate have passed the bill and the President will sign soon. We have been reviewing the final funding bill and are happy to report, while there have been cuts to programs we care about, United Way’s priorities fared well overall.
