A Message from our Campaign Chair

Hello! This is our moment - our chance - to create change. It’s easy to stop supporting a cause you think is already lost, but with over 6.5 million dollars raised, this Campaign is far from over.

It’s true, we’ve faced many challenges this fall. But, instead of using the poor economy as an excuse to become complacent, we need to step up and give help when it is needed most. It’s more important now than ever to remember why we’re doing what we’re doing.

As the weather becomes colder, utility assistance becomes a life threatening concern for many families. And it’s not just families in the inner city that need help this year. Calls to United Way 2-1-1 are rising in Sylvania, Perrysburg and other suburban areas.

It’s thanks to your hard work that we’ve made it this far. If we keep up this momentum, everyone in our community wins.
