Improving Graduation and College-Readiness Summit: Sponsored by America’s Promise Alliance
Children must graduate from high school… period. Graduation rates affect every aspect of our community from income levels to crime rates to healthy lifestyles, and our graduation rates are alarming at best, catastrophic at worst.
United Way of Greater Toledo hosted a dropout prevention summit in partnership with America's Promise Alliance. This one-day summit brought together every sector of the community: parents, students, educators, business leaders, law enforcement, the court system, nonprofits, and religious organizations to increase awareness, encourage collaboration, and facilitate action to improve graduation rates.
